At Seattle Open Door Church we not only give honor to those in our military who have given their life for the sake of freedom but also give honor to those who have been persecuted and killed for their faith. True freedom comes from Jesus Christ and is available for all who choose to receive it. Many have suffered and have given their life for sharing this Good News. It's time as American Christians that we go to battle for our faith-Spiritual Warfare, not physical warfare. Onward Christian Soldiers should not be just a song we sing or know, but a life we live. How about being a soldier for Christ-starts with receiving Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior.www.sodc.tv/resourceshttps://youtu.be/cP7NbqkzzVE

Moving Beyond the Past-Lesson 6, Part Five Forgiveness Summary Senior Pastor Richard D. Dover Seattle Open Door Church When we have been wounded by others we are left broken and wounded by the pain and destruction of what has been done to us. Or when we have been the guilty party we are left with guilt, shame, embarrassment, and self-hatred. May times we struggle with forgiving those who have sinned against us, struggle with blaming God, or unable to forgive ourselves. Through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross, we can experience forgiveness from God and we can have the ability to forgive others or ourselves. God desires set us completely free and to heal every wound. Forgiveness is one of the steps for this to occur.
