Delayed Answers to Prayer-Part 3

In Psalm 116 it is clear the psalmist has been through hell and back. The psalmist has surely wondered where God is at, why isn't God answering their prayers. But it is also clear the psalmist has seen God move in the midst of their situation. Their mouth is full of praise. How about you? Where are you at in your life right now?
I can tell you I know what it is like to be at a place of darkness and hopelessness. In the midst of it, just like the psalmist I learned the only way to make it through the darkness is to continue serving and honoring God. To continue calling out to Him and giving Him praise. He is worthy of praise regardless of our circumstances. And once you have experienced answers to your prayers you certainly will give God praise.
If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior it will be hard to praise God. How about becoming asking Jesus to take charge of your situation? Turn your life over to Him.

Delayed Answers to Prayer-Part Two
Psalm 69

Whenever we pray we should by faith be praising God for the answer. This is certainly true when we are experiences delays to our prayers being answered.
In Psalm 69 you seed the desperation of the Psalmist. They describe the pain they are in, the discouragement,, they cry out to God, they pray against their enemies, and they give praise.
When should cry out to God in complete honesty, we should pray God intervene on our behalf in regards to our enemies, we should give Him praise. Too many times in the midst of delayed answers to pray we turn to grumbling instead of praising. Give Him praise.

Seek But Not Find

Some seek for God’s will, some seek for knowledge but reject godly counsel. Some let pride and sin interfere in finding wisdom.
Fool does not seek counsel
Proverbs 28:26

Favor and Wisdom when seek counsel.

Difference between receiving counsel and not receiving counsel.
Proverbs 15:31-32
NLT
31 If you listen to constructive criticism, you will be at home among the wise.
32 If you reject discipline, you only harm yourself; but if you listen to correction, you grow in understanding.
Trust the Word and those who share the word.
Proverbs 3:5-6
6 Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Don’t Need a Teacher
I John 2:26
Prior context is having a mature faith in Christ, about God’s word living in your heart, not loving the world. These are conditions in order for you to hear clearly from God. One of the fivefold gifts is Teacher, Thus there is still the need of teachers. Apostle Paul started a school of leaders to raise up disciples-they were being taught by Apostle Paul.
If not born again, cannot be lead by the Holy Spirit.
