What is Ministry?

Is one who ministers only a pastor? Who can do ministry and what is it?
Ministry is to serve others, doing acts of ministry for the sake of the Gospel, to reflect the love of Christ to others by acts of service, to share the word of God through preaching and teaching.
Every follower is called to do ministry. Share the Gospel (Matthew 28:18-20)
All Christians have gifts (1 Corinthians 7:7).
Different kinds of service (1 Corinthians 12:5)
Five-fold ministers equip each of us to do the work of the ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-12)

Leaves can be a good thing. Leaves through photosynthesis turn carbon dioxide into oxygen. Leaves can be used in compost. Leaves are beautiful in the fall. But leaves can also be a nuisance in the fall.
Money, Friends, and Entertainment can be good things. But at times they can be a detriment.

What Fire Burns in You?

Hebrews 12:28-29 talks of God being an all consuming fire. Thus God's Spirit consumes/overcomes/overwhelmswhatever it contacts. God's Spirit cleanses and purifies. Those who are touched by God will be refined by His fire and consumed by His fire. Those who rebel against God will be judged by His fire, and without Christ, destroyed by His fire. We have a choice what category we fall into.
Those who love God, those who are filled with His Holy Spirit will worship Him in spirit and truth. They will be worshipers in giving praise and worshipers in living a lifestyle of holiness to give Almighty God reverence and awe.
