Change-Doing versus Trying
Preacher RichD and Bobbie talk about the difference between doing versus trying when it comes to changing. In Proverbs 21:5 it states The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes to poverty.
Diligent: having or showing care and conscientiousness in one's work or duties.
A person who is diligent in changing, diligent in overcoming an addiction will do whatever it takes to stay sober instead of trying to stay sober.
