Philippians 3;12-13
Preacher RichD
12 Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead (NASB)

Philippians 3:8-11
Preacher Rich D
8 More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, 9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith, 10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and he fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11 in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. (NASB)

If the love of Christ controls us we will compelled, urged, driven to love Christ. Since He died for us we will want to die for Him. We are much better ambassadors for Christ when we truly understand His love.

Saturday Sep 04, 2021
An in-depth look at 2 Corinthians 5:10. There is going to be the judgment of all Christians in heaven. They will be judged for the good and bad they have done and rewards given. Does this mean their will be punishment for the bad deeds, or does it mean that there will not be any reward for the bad deeds? If Christ blood covers all unrighteousness there will not be punishment in heaven.

Once Saved, Always Saved or Lose Your Salvation?
Saturday Aug 28, 2021
Saturday Aug 28, 2021
There are Christians that believe Once Saved, Always Saved which means you are guaranteed to go to heaven no matter how you live if you are born again. There are others who believe as a Christian you can Lose Your Salvation (Walk Away from God)because you have free will and can walk away from God.
There are Bible verses that defend both positions. There are Bible verses that contradict both positions. Here is what all Christians should be able to agree on. If Jesus is more than Savior but also Lord of lords in your life, you may fall short, may even backslide for a time, but you will come back to HIm if you are saved. We should also be able to agree it is a very dangerous thing to "play in the devil's camp".
